Corrections Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-11
We take accuracy seriously and correct errors as quickly as possible.
How to request a correction
Email support@apocc.co.jp with the subject "Correction request", or use our Contact form. Please include:
- the URL of the article;
- the exact statement you believe is wrong; and
- the correct information and, if possible, a source we can verify.
What we do
- We acknowledge correction requests within two business days (Japan time) and aim to resolve them within five business days.
- If an article contains a factual error, we correct the text and add a dated correction note at the end of the article describing what was changed. The article's "last updated" timestamp is also updated.
- For minor issues such as typos or formatting, we fix the text without a note.
- If an article is fundamentally wrong, we unpublish it. The URL then returns a "410 Gone" status so that search engines remove it.
- We do not remove accurate articles at the request of the subject, but we will consider updating an article with significant new developments.
Press releases
Press releases are published as supplied by the issuer. Requests to amend a press release should be sent to the issuing organization, which can submit a corrected release through APOC Wire.
Corrections log
Each corrected article displays its correction history at the bottom of the page.
